Job Description


Purpose - Broad objective of the role .Experience/working knowledge of Ericsson, Nokia RF & Baseband units .Inter-relationship between 2G, 3G and 4G and the impact of one on the other when network changes are made .Mobile Operator Service 4G network design & transition knowledge .Experience working within a managed services provider, SLA, KPIs Major Activities: .To provide L2 support for RAN domain in the field, as needed .Analyzing & troubleshooting different network related issues .Regularly monitor the network KPI\'s .To coordinate the communications between customer, operation\'s team, and field support system .Supporting field Engineers with troubleshooting of all eNodeB alarms, RRUs, RET issues on site and making the site alarm free. .Accountable for day to day delivery of the assigned project towards the MSA delivery .Responsible for root cause analysis and workaround / solution definition activities according to the Problem Report/Ticket. .Ensure MS Customers KPI(s) are met as per agreed targets / SLAs. .Operates in compliance with the processes, methods and tools linked to the job and possesses service excellence awareness .Knows BBU, Radios. Interfaces, and good KPI & Alarms knowledge. .Knowledge on RF and respective parameters, ability to collect logs and analyze logfiles .Interact with OEM for any issues which seems to be product issues Minimum qualification & experience . B.E / B.Tech in Electronics and Communications or Equivalent qualification with 13 years\' experience in Telecommunications RAN Planning / Operations . Should be team worker, experienced trouble shooter for O&M activities Key Responsibilities Working knowledge of Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei RF & Baseband units .Mobility knowledge (2G,3G and 4G) .Troubleshooting experience of Network, Equipment and Service level faults .Knowhow about respective OEM RAN connectivity & Alarms .Capacity utilization management .Assisting Field team for local login to the Equipment and coordinating with them for troubleshoot Sense of ownership to improve the Network .Task Management, Able to multitask to manage multiple operational and project workloads .Good presentation skill, Liaise with customer representatives to share progress of tasks. .Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. .Willingness to learn more and do more. .Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English language.
