Sr. Manager - MEP

Experience: 15+ Years Industry: Real Estate, Construction

QualificationsB.E./B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. MEP / Project Management certification preferred.

To lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting & HVAC) works across projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong leadership, and proven project management skills, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of MEP services.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & ExecutionLead and manage MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC) at project sites.Review MEP designs, BOQs, specifications, and drawings, providing technical inputs to consultants and architects.Prepare and monitor project schedules for MEP activities, ensuring smooth coordination with civil teams.Project ManagementTrack daily/weekly MEP progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.Vendor & Contractor CoordinationIdentify, evaluate, and finalize contractors/vendors in consultation with procurement.Conduct technical discussions, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.Ensure timely procurement and delivery of MEP materials and equipment.Quality & Cost ControlMaintain execution quality as per specifications and standards.Control project costs, reduce wastage, and optimize resource utilization.Certify contractor bills, verify measurements, and ensure contractual compliance.Team Management & CoordinationLead and mentor the MEP project team, including site engineers and technicians.Collaborate with Design, Procurement, Contracts, Execution, and Sales teams.Provide training and technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.Handover & MaintenanceEnsure proper commissioning of MEP systems before project handover.Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and snag lists.Support post-handover maintenance requirements as per project scope.What We're Looking ForStrong technical expertise in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and IBMS systems.Proven ability to review drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals.Excellent project and vendor management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost-control abilities.Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera and MS Office.Ability to lead large teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
