To manage and execute all legal matters including drafting, vetting, and negotiating lease, license, and general legal agreements; overseeing litigation; ensuring legal and regulatory compliance; and providing legal advisory support across departments in line with company SOPs.
Key ResponsibilitiesContract & Documentation
Draft, vet, and negotiate lease deeds, leave & license agreements, and other commercial contracts.
Review legal documents including business, financial, operational, and vendor agreements.
Maintain a centralized database of executed agreements and ensure regular audits and updates.
Legal Advisory & Research
Provide legal advice and opinions to internal stakeholders on contracts, statutory interpretation, and regulatory changes.
Conduct legal research and stay updated with changes in laws and regulations.
Address legal queries from various internal teams related to agreements, laws, and ongoing matters.
Litigation & Dispute Management
Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters, including coordination with external legal counsel.
Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities as required.
Maintain and update litigation MIS and track legal notices, summons, and case status.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure company adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal SOPs.
Handle statutory filings, regulatory documentation, and responses to authorities.
Liaise with external stakeholders including government agencies, regulators, and legal bodies.
Due Diligence & Real Estate Matters
Conduct legal due diligence for property transactions and new business opportunities.
Ensure compliance with land laws and manage documentation related to property acquisitions or leases.
Records Management
Maintain systematic, secure, and well-organized physical and electronic records for all legal documents, notices, and case files.
