Job Description

A Senior Manager Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation and Resettlement (LARR) in coal mining oversees the acquisition of land, implements rehabilitation and resettlement programs, and manages associated legal and regulatory matters. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operation and compliance with mining regulations.Key Responsibilities:Land Acquisition:Leading efforts to acquire land for mining operations, including dealing with different types of land (Rayati, Tribal, etc.) and obtaining necessary approvals from government departments.Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R):Implementing and managing R&R programs for affected communities, ensuring fair compensation and relocation support.Government Liaison:Maintaining strong relationships with government officials and agencies, obtaining necessary permits, and managing statutory approvals.Legal and Compliance:Ensuring compliance with land acquisition laws (e.g., LA Act 1894, RFCT LARR Act 2013) and other relevant regulations.Negotiation and Communication:Negotiating land acquisition terms, resolving disputes, and communicating effectively with stakeholders (landowners, local communities, government officials).Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of land transactions, legal proceedings, and R&R activities.Project Management:Overseeing the execution of land acquisition projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education:Minimum graduation with LLB (Law) preferred, or equivalent with relevant experience.Experience:Extensive experience in land acquisition, rehabilitation, and resettlement, particularly in the mining industry.JOB APPLYhttp://jobs.vinayakjob.com/CONTACT - SHASHI 93026 42415
