JOB OVERVIEW

Function Overview

The Finance organization partners across General Mills to provide financial expertise to guide and govern the company. We bring a distinctive skill set to help the company sustainably drive strong returns on investment, whether that's brand investments, capital investments or resource investments. The Finance function operates as a global team through the partnership of a series of enterprise-focused and business-embedded groups.

Purpose of the role

As the Senior Finance Manager, Global Admin Analytics Team (GAAT), you will have the opportunity to lead, build, and develop a team of 10+ analysts. This impactful role provides critical leadership to effectively manage SG&A investments for all General Mills segments and functions. The role provides cross-functional global exposure and interaction with multiple Finance teams.





GAAT is on a journey to modernize our processes and maximize enterprise value by bringing relevant, data-driven insights to our stakeholders through external insight and modern technology. Critical success factors for this role include the ability to understand key business assumptions and drivers, understanding of financial systems and processes, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with and educate business partners while demonstrating a strong overall customer service orientation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead, build and develop a team of 10+ analysts Key partner in supporting the complex process of forecasting, planning and actuals review for >$2.5B in Enterprise SG&A spend Partner with US based GAAT members to deliver an efficient Spring Plan admin process Effectively communicate with and educate budget owners while demonstrating a strong overall customer service orientation Establish processes, make process improvements, and effectively organize work (Process Excellence) Identify and partner with Global FP&A Capabilities team on tool enhancements ideas, testing to improve quality of insights.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory) Professional Certification: B. Com Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics 10+ years minimum of finance work experience Experience in planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting (Planning Acumen) Strong critical thinking and ability to apply risk-based lens Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders to act via effective communication and presentation (Partner for Impact) High sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to be proactive and respond quickly to evolving marketplace (Situational Agility)

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed

History of coaching and providing feedback to develop team members (Build All Players) Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills Process Excellence, able to make process improvements, and effectively organize work Situational agility, comfort navigating ambiguity Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability Solid understanding of P&L planning and business process Global and/or cross-functional team partnership System proficiency (or ability to get up to speed quickly)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree 7 to 9 years of related experience Major Area of Study: Finance, Analytics, Accountancy, Costing Professional Qualification: CA, MBA, PGDBA, MMS
