The Role Responsibilities Job Role Partner the Client Coverage (CC) Cost FP&A Lead and responsible for the delivery of all FP&A to support cost performance management requirements of Client Coverage function within CCIB. Provide value add through comprehensive understanding of financials, business context and analysis to support their decision making and strategic development. Business Support Ensure that MI is produced in a timely and accurate manner to enable strategic decision making. Ability to draw out and present the \'cost\' story in a presentable format for senior management. Understand drivers for cost performance drilldown and analyse the cost across actuals and plan. Analyze business performance (management and financial), review highlight risks and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome. Participate in the challenge process with businesses, regions and functions on their cost number if not aligned to TB strategy. In-depth understanding of cost reporting structure, processes and systems. Participate, support and implement in the hierarchy aligned reporting requirements using a robust process which will cater to dynamic demand environments. Work with upstream and downstream teams to ensure that there is transparency in the cost numbers and the process. Participate in the coordination and support during forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting cycles with product and segment finance heads and Regional / Country finance functions. Support the central CCIB cost function in providing TB cost related inputs towards WFRs, MBRs, Group Finance reporting requirements, etc. Having control over all TB outcomes across cost processes including accounting and control. Participate and support to ensure impact on business performance outcomes is managed due to change in upstream or downstream processes and systems. Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association. Key Stakeholders CC Cost FP&A Lead CC CFO, their teams and Regional finance teams CC COO, CEO, their Group and Regional teams GFS / P2P counterparts Our Ideal Candidate A mature finance profession with relevant experience in financial services industry. Experienced in corporate banking products, booking models, accounting treatments. Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where candidate does not have direct authority and build on unstructured formative situation. Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process. Sound understanding of cost management, cost performance reporting and understanding of cost booking and allocations practices. Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of business performance management outcomes. A high degree of integrity and ability to challenge the views and actions of others in a constructive manner. Should have worked in a business finance function with strong FP&A background.
