Designation: Regional Finance Manager - North

Experience 10+ years upto 40 years

Location: Delhi or New Delhi

Budget 15 lakhs per annum

Education: Post graduation

1. Financial Management & Reporting

Manage regional financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of P&L statements, balance sheets, cash-flow reports, and MIS dashboards.

Analyze revenue, cost drivers, and profit margins across products--Air, Ocean, Transport, Customs, Warehousing, and Project Cargo.

Maintain strong control over regional working capital--DSO, DPO, and inventory levels (if applicable).

2. Compliance & Controls

Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, audit norms, and internal financial policies.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.

Implement and strengthen financial controls, SOPs, and risk-management practices.

3. Business Partnering

Work closely with regional operations, sales, and procurement teams to support business decisions.

Evaluate pricing strategies, quotation profitability, and customer credit risks.

Support commercial negotiations and contract evaluations.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

Drive regional annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles.

Track budget vs actuals, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Provide strategic financial insights to support revenue growth and cost optimization.

5. Credit Control & Receivables

Oversee the credit control process and monitor overdue accounts.

Implement strong credit assessment and collection strategies.

Coordinate with customers, sales teams, and operations to maintain healthy cash flow.

6. Team Management

Lead and mentor the regional finance team.

Ensure continuous development, training, and performance improvement.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of freight forwarding finance processes (Air/Ocean billing, CFS/CHA, job costing, accruals, revenue recognition).

Expertise in financial analysis, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Proficiency in ERP systems (CargoWise, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliances, and audit frameworks.
