POSITON - Sr. Manager - Software Architect
PURPOSE.
Software Architect is responsible for conducting research, designing, and evaluating new technologies to software architecture of an embedded product to maintain organization wide view of capabilities, and strategy. The complete life cycle of embedded software, from requirements and specification development to technology selection and implementation is managed/supported by him.
PLACE IN THE ORGANIZATION.
The Software Architect will report to the GM- R & D
Function Criteria
The Software Architect is responsible for selecting, defining and creating an innovative software architecture of the BMS, testing unit and support system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program integrity.
Knowledge and experience

• Bachelor / Master in Electronics / Embedded / Electronics &
• Communication with 12-17 years of experience in embedded product development
• Minimum 8 years of experience in embedded software development and experience with real time embedded systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BMS development for Li-Ion Batteries
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a technical lead
• Minimum 3 years of experience in requirements analysis, software specification definition, software integration, testing integration and SDLC
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hands on experience in 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers and architecture such as RISC, CISC, ARM, CORTEX, DSP
• Hands on experience in software development tools (IDE and compilers) like Eclipse, Code Warrior, Keil, CCS, IAR, MATLAB
• Hands on experience in languages such as C, C#, Python, VB, and model-based design and development
• Hands on experience in operating system such as Windows, Linux, RTOS
• Experience in standards like - AUTOSTAR, MISRA C, ISO26262 etc.
• Experience in different communication standards and protocol such as TCP/IP, https, ftps, Modbus TCP, DNP3, MODBUS - RTU/ASCII, RS232, RS485 CAN, USB, LIN, FlexRay, UDS, OBD-2
• In-depth knowledge in different software control and security algorithms and strong mathematical and problem-solving skill.
• Experience in testing and simulation tools like CANalyzer, CANOe
• Knowledge on chargers, PCS (power conversion systems) and charging protocol such as GB/T, CCS, CHAdeMO
