A. Quality Planning & Control
o Develop, implement, and monitor Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Quality
Control Procedures (QCP) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
o Establish Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and method statements
for all Civil, MEPF, and Infrastructure works.
o Review design deliverables to ensure constructability, code compliance, and
sustainability objectives.
o Implement material testing, batch verification, calibration control, and
quality record documentation.
o Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, IS codes, NBC, and relevant
local building standards.
o Track NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), root cause analysis, and CAPA
(Corrective & Preventive Action) closure status.
B. Quality Audit & Process Assurance
o Design and lead Internal Quality Audits (IQA) for all project stages - design,
procurement, execution, and handover.
o Conduct quarterly external audits in collaboration with accredited third-party
ISO auditors to validate system compliance and best practices.
o Prepare Quality Audit Reports, highlight process gaps, recommend
improvements, and monitor the closure of deviations.
o Ensure audits are conducted per ISO 19011:2018 (Guidelines for Auditing
Management Systems).
o Maintain the Project Quality Index (PQI) dashboard for management review
and performance benchmarking.
C. SOP Implementation & Process Governance
o Drive and monitor organization-wide implementation of Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) across Design, Construction, MEPF, Procurement, and
Facilities teams.
o Review and update SOPs to remain compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and
ISO 45001 principles of continual improvement.
o Develop process flow maps, RACI matrices, and SOP compliance checklists
for all project phases.
o Establish internal process audit frequency, reporting formats, and traceability
matrix.
o Facilitate Management Review Meetings (MRMs) with leadership to assess
SOP adherence and performance indicators.
D. Environmental, Safety & Energy Management Integration
o Collaborate with HSE and Sustainability teams to integrate ISO 14001 & ISO
45001 principles into the project's quality systems.
o Support implementation of energy-efficient construction practices in line
with ISO 50001 and IGBC/LEED standards for hostel projects.
o Ensure environmental compliance (waste management, resource
optimization) and safety documentation (PPE, method statements, risk
assessments).
E. Training, Awareness & Capacity Building
o Conduct induction and refresher training programs for engineers, site staff,
and contractors on quality, ISO compliance, and SOP adherence.
o Organize periodic "Quality Improvement Workshops" to disseminate lessons
learned from audits and NCRs.
o Act as the change agent for process culture transformation and continuous
improvement initiatives.
F. Documentation & Reporting
o Maintain all quality documentation and ISO registers as per retention policy.
o Submit monthly Quality Performance Reports (QPRs) summarizing audit
findings, CAPA status, and risk trends.
o Prepare Quarterly Governance Dashboards highlighting key performance
indicators (KPI) for leadership and board reporting.
o Support internal and external audits by providing complete traceable
evidence of process implementation and compliance.

4. Desired Candidate Profile
A. Education:
o B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
o Additional certification preferred:
o ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
o ISO 14001/45001 Internal Auditor
o Certified QA/QC or TQM Professional (ASQ / CQE preferred)
B. Experience:
o 10-15 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Audit, and Process
Implementation for Institutional / University / Real Estate Projects.
o Hands-on experience in both Greenfield developments and Asset
Replacement / Refurbishment Projects.
o Proven record of ISO process implementation, internal auditing, and
multi-stakeholder coordination.
C. Technical Competence:
o Deep understanding of Civil, MEPF, and Infrastructure standards
o Familiarity with NBC 2016, IS codes, ISO frameworks, IGBC/LEED criteria
o Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA methodology, and process audits
