The Sr. Legal Manager will oversee all legal and compliance-related activities of the organization. The role includes drafting and reviewing agreements, handling regulatory matters, managing documentation for land/registry/sales deed, and supporting internal teams with legal guidance.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Legal Documentation & Contract Management*
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including sales deeds, lease deeds, MoUs, NDAs, vendor agreements, service contracts, etc.
Handle registration of property documents at Sub-Registrar office (Registry, Stamp Duty, Sales Deed, Mutation).
Maintain accurate legal documentation and contract records.
2. Regulatory & Compliance*
Ensure statutory compliance with applicable laws (Company Act, Labour laws, Contract Act, etc.).
Monitor renewal of licenses, approvals, and permits.
Maintain and update legal and compliance tracker.
3. Litigation & Dispute Resolution*
Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation, notices, and disputes.
Draft replies to legal notices, demand notices, and government queries.
4. Internal Support*
Provide legal guidance to management and cross-functional teams.
Support procurement/HR/administration team with contract and compliance-related matters.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB). LLM preferred.
3-7 years of experience in corporate legal, real estate documentation, or contract management.
Strong knowledge of Sales Deed / Registry / RERA / Commercial agreements.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
