About the Role
Sr. Lead SDE - Python Automation will be part of one of our Agile Squad in Barco SaaS Product Development group. He/She will be leading Test strategy, automation, and development of next generation feature of Barco SaaS solution. He/She will be collaborating with product managers, product owners, customers, Agile squads, Architects in different teams and time-zones to understand the need of the customer and implement the value. He/She will be closely monitoring latest industry trends in technologies for possible use and share the same with team.

Specific details about the role are as follows:
You will define the test strategy, and automation strategy for the product.
You will work closely with Developers and Product Owners, System and Solution architects as well as DevOps Architects across different locations to design and implement quality product increments.
You will do automation, system test, regression test, performance test, scalability test to deliver a high quality SaaS application to our users.
You will be involved in and expected to lead and contribute on design, development of functional and nonfunctional components for scalable, resilient, and reliable multi-tenant Barco Cloud Services.
You will also be involved in Supportability, Serviceability and Deployability aspect of Cloud Services which can help Barco Software Development groups achieve desired SLA for their cloud services.
You will collaborate with global test guilds to define next generation technology and architectural patterns for test automation.

About the Successful Candidate
The successful candidate is a self-motivated leader who can deal with complex problems, has a vision to take the organization to the next level. He/She should be able to understand complex SaaS product requirements and should have excellent stake holder management capabilities. The candidate must be experienced in ensuring quality of large scale SaaS applications and should be able to understand the complexities of software development for Cloud. He/She should be able to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and SCRUM team.

Preferred Skills and Experience

B. Tech./B. E./M. E./M. Tech. in Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering
10-12 years of full stack test development experience, 5 years of relevant experience in testing large scaled SaaS web applications developed in javascript based technology stack
Full stack test developer with good proficiency in Python, Selenium, jmeter, Cloud, IoT, Dlastic, Docker, Grafana, graphite,
Good experience in testing the web based SaaS application for performance, scalability, robustness, reliability
Working experience with SQL and NoSQL (mongo, cosmos, cassandra) databases
Good experience in designing test strategies and leading test execution to deliver quality product release
Experienced in Test driven development (TDD) with CI/CD, DevOps practices.
Experience in implementing, testing and supporting reusable and maintainable APIs and services
Good experience in designing cloud native, scalable SaaS products with microservices based architecture on AWS or Azure cloud
Good experience in leading technical tracks in product development. Mentoring team members on automation and testing skills.
Proven ability to develop and ship high quality software products in Agile development environments.
Should have high emotional quotient, self-driven and shows technology leadership in complex and ambiguous situations.
