About the role Detailed design and development of microcontroller/microprocessor based hardware for electronic control circuits (DDR,SDR & flash) Review product requirements create technical specifications as well as system testing requirements. Modification and design of systems including Analog & Digital components, High speed & Mixed signal design Displays, Touch Screens and RF/antenna designs. Update and maintain detailed schematics, BOM and design documents for products. Provide PCB layout design guidelines to PCB designers and maintain Gerbers files Perform component selection for obsolescence and value engineering programs. Provide detailed circuit analysis, tolerance analysis, simulations, FMEA and manufacturing test plans for the circuits designed or modified. Troubleshooting hardware, debug firmware and optimize performance. Work closely with test labs for agency certifications like FCC/CE/UL, etc. Follow internal hardware and firmware development processes and contribute to process improvements. Ability to communicate concepts, unit and system level hardware design, design validation test results and progress of projects to core team and leadership. Key Responsibilities: Looking 12+ Years of total work Experience Required Technical skills : . The experience and skills required include but are not limited to the following: . Min 10 yrs industry experience in the area of embedded systems and hardware development. . Experience in micro-controller & FPGA based designs for communication interfaces like I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi Chipset, wireless modules and external memories, LCD & touch screen interfaces etc. . Proficiency in Schematic capture tools like Orcad/PADS/Altium is must. . Proficiency in circuit analysis, circuit simulation using PSpice/Mathcad/Matlab and circuit tolerance analysis is required. . Exposure with PCB layout tools like Allegro/PADS/Altium layout is required. . Experience with microcontrollers/microprocessor applications using PICxxx series, TI\'s MSPxxx series, NXP, Renesas devices, etc. Requirements We are looking for people who are , Experience in Programming languages like C and Assembly, a plus. Experience in Electronic Controls design Experience in Power Electronics, LCD Screens & Touch Screens. Knowledge of protocols like WiFi (IEEE 802.11), Bluetooth, BLE and Zigbee (IEEE 802.15). Experience in RF circuit design and PCB layout of embedded wireless systems like WiFi/Bluetooth/Zigbee/ISM band (900 MHz/2.4 GHz) radio systems.
