Key Responsibilities

Backend & Microservices Development

Design, develop, and maintain

microservices using Java and Spring Boot

. Build clean, scalable, and secure

RESTful APIs

for web and mobile applications. Implement service-to-service communication and ensure high availability and fault tolerance. Follow domain-driven design and microservices best practices.

Database & Data Management

Design and optimize

PostgreSQL

schemas, queries, and indexes. Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and transactional consistency. Work with ORM frameworks such as

Hibernate / JPA

.

Quality, Performance & Security

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following coding standards. Implement unit tests, integration tests, and API tests. Ensure application security, performance optimization, and error handling.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and solution architects. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions. Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in cloud or containerized environments.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with

Java and Spring Boot

. Solid understanding of

microservices architecture

and REST API design. Experience working with

PostgreSQL

. Familiarity with

Spring Data JPA, Hibernate

, and SQL optimization. Experience with version control systems (Git). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with containerization (

Docker, Kubernetes

). Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of security standards .
