Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Java Developer

with 7-9 years of overall experience and 4-6 years of strong core Java development experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with both

Oracle JDK

and

OpenJDK

, and be capable of leading efforts to

migrate Java applications from Oracle JDK to OpenJDK

.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications. Lead the migration of existing systems from

Oracle JDK

to

OpenJDK

, ensuring compatibility and performance. Analyze and resolve technical issues, particularly those arising during JDK migration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Architecture to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews. Stay current with Java ecosystem developments and advocate for best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7-9 years of overall IT experience with 4-6 years in core Java development. Proficient in

Java SE

,

Spring / Spring Boot

,

JPA/Hibernate

, and RESTful APIs. Solid experience working with

Oracle JDK

and

OpenJDK

. Proven experience in migrating applications from

Oracle JDK to OpenJDK

. Good understanding of Java performance tuning and memory management. Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control (Git). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss).
