We are Looking an empathetic, knowledgeable, and experienced
Senior IVF Counsellor
to join our fertility team. The ideal candidate will guide patients through their fertility journey with emotional support, treatment education, and administrative coordination. You will play a key role in ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and emotionally supported at every stage of their fertility treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional, psychological, and educational counselling to couples and individuals undergoing IVF, IUI, ICSI, surrogacy, and other fertility treatments.
Conduct detailed counselling sessions for first-time patients and explain treatment plans, success rates, timelines, costs, risks, and procedures.
Coordinate between patients, doctors, embryologists, and other departments to ensure smooth treatment flow.
Follow up with patients at every stage of treatment (from registration to outcome).
Handle sensitive discussions such as donor programs, failed cycles, and egg/sperm freezing.
Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, patient progress, and treatment status.
Train and mentor junior counsellors and provide team leadership where necessary.
Ensure compliance with ART Act and PC-PNDT Act during patient counselling.
Help patients cope with emotional and psychological challenges associated with infertility.
Assist in organizing patient awareness sessions, fertility camps, and support group meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or any related healthcare field.
Minimum 1 years of experience in IVF/Fertility counselling..
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and build strong patient rapport.
Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to diverse patient situations.
Fluency in English and Hindi (additional languages like Urdu, Bengali, or regional languages are a plus).
Knowledge of fertility treatments, ART processes, and relevant legal regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certified IVF or Fertility Counselling Training (optional but preferred)
Experience handling donor or surrogacy counselling
Prior experience working in a reputed IVF centre or hospital
Work Environment:
Hospital-based fertility centre or dedicated IVF clinic
May involve virtual counselling sessions
