• Administrate the ITOM ServiceNow services employing best practices, governance and standards
• Collaborate with operational, technical and non-technical business teams globally
• Equate business challenges and requirements to technical deliveries. Agree timelines and execute at pace
• Utilise your passion to learn new technologies, enthusiasm about sharing knowledge and experience
• Troubleshoot technical issues to quickly isolate fault domain and determine root cause. Formulate solutions and/or workarounds across a wide range of environments
• You will champion forward thinking by bringing a unique point of view while inspiring impeccable quality from others
• Generate documentation content and participate in cross-functional business and technical teams to strengthen and evangelize our monitoring and analytics services
• Suggest, design, and implement improvements to currently deployed and integrated solutions
• Support global operations and business support/development teams
• Take ITOM ownership by driving meaningful change and delivering results from passion and purpose

Qualifications

• 5+ years previous experience administrating and using event management platforms
• Experience administrating ServiceNow ITOM event management and ITSM frameworks - in particular - Incident, Change, and Configuration Management as part of ITIL processes
• Must be an independent self-starter with experience in process development and improvement
• Experience using and administering Server, Network, and Application monitoring tools
• Proficient with Rest APIs, knowledge of curl, Postman, or Insomnia along with API integration with observability tools
• Experience with JavaScript, Regular Expressions, Curl, shell scripting and Web requests
• Knowledge of general operating systems such as Linux and Windows
• Strong troubleshooting skills to rapidly isolate faults and safely implement remediation
• Knowledge of Enterprise monitoring solutions
• Automation first mindset - innate ability to find common repeatable tasks and configure automation to alleviate unnecessary overhead.
