The Senior IT Executive is responsible for overseeing daily IT operations, maintaining IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring smooth functioning of all hospital software, hardware, and networking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
System & Network Management:
Monitor and maintain servers, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewall systems.
Ensure data backup, recovery, and system security.
Troubleshoot and resolve network, printer, and connectivity issues.
Hardware & Software Maintenance:
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and CCTV systems.
Manage software installations, updates, and antivirus protection.
Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment repair and AMC services.
Hospital Software / ERP / HMIS:
Provide user support for HMIS and other hospital software modules.
Coordinate with software vendors for system updates and issue resolution.
Train staff on using hospital software efficiently.
Data & Security Management:
Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and IT security policies.
Conduct regular audits and system performance checks.
IT Asset & Documentation:
Maintain inventory of IT assets and accessories.
Prepare IT reports, downtime logs, and maintenance schedules.
Support procurement activities for IT materials and licenses.
Support & Coordination:
Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to all departments.
Coordinate with Admin and Management for technology upgrades.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT operations (hospital experience preferred).
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of networking, Windows servers, CCTV, firewalls, and hospital management systems.
Familiar with data backup, antivirus, and troubleshooting tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Working Hours:
As per hospital policy (rotational or general shift).
