Key ResponsibilitiesHardware Management
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other hardware.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for end users.
Manage AMC vendors, hardware inventory, and spare stock.
Perform periodic maintenance of IT equipment and ensure uptime.
Software Management
Install, update, and manage operating systems, applications, antivirus, and licensed software.
Maintain user accounts, email configurations, and system permissions.
Troubleshoot software-related issues (ERP, CRM, Office applications, etc.).
Track software license validity and ensure compliance.
Network & IT Infrastructure
Monitor LAN/WAN, WiFi, routers, switches, and network security.
Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with service providers.
Support CCTV system monitoring and NVR/DVR maintenance.
Manage backup systems, data storage, and network access control.
User Support & Helpdesk
Provide timely IT support to all employees across departments.
Maintain a ticketing or issue-tracking system for IT requests.
Conduct user training for basic IT usage, security, and best practices.
Security & Compliance
Ensure data security, antivirus updates, and regular system backups.
Maintain IT policies and ensure users follow security protocols.
Assist in implementing cybersecurity measures and access controls.
IT Projects & Upgrades
Support IT infrastructure upgrades, new branch setups, and system migrations.
Suggest improvements to enhance IT performance and reliability.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for IT projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BCA, B.Sc IT, BE/ B.Tech in IT/Computer Science preferred).
3-6 years of experience in IT support with hardware + software expertise.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office365, antivirus systems, and basic Linux.
Good understanding of LAN/WAN networks, IP settings, routers, and switches.
Experience with CCTV, biometric devices, ERP/CRM support, and email configuration.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes
Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA A+ / N+ (added advantage).
Ability to handle high-pressure environments and multitasking.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
