Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary
Senior International Tour Head
to lead our international travel division. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and growth of global tour operations while managing a team of executives. This role requires deep destination expertise, strong leadership, vendor relationship management, and a strategic mindset to drive business expansion in the international segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the international tours department, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Design and develop innovative outbound tour packages tailored for groups, FITs, and corporate clients.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with global DMCs, airlines, hotels, and other service providers.
Oversee the creation of itineraries, quotations, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
Guide the team in handling client communications, bookings, and post-travel feedback.
Ensure compliance with visa requirements, international travel regulations, and company policies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging destinations to identify new business opportunities.
Set departmental goals, budgets, and performance metrics, driving operational efficiency.
Manage escalations, resolve complex issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Provide training, mentorship, and motivation to team members to enhance productivity and service quality.
Qualifications:
Minimum
7-10 years
of experience in international travel operations or tour management, with at least
3 years in a leadership role
.
Bachelor's degree in
Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Management
.
Strong knowledge of global destinations, flight routing, visa regulations, and DMC operations.
Proven ability to negotiate with international vendors and manage large tour budgets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with hands-on operational expertise and a passion for travel excellence.
