Job Description

A Senior Interior Designer cum Project Manager leads interior design projects from concept to completion, focusing on client satisfaction, budget, and timeline. The role involves a dual responsibility of creative design leadership and overseeing project management, including coordinating with clients, managing budgets, supervising teams, and ensuring quality execution of furniture and interior elements. This includes handling vendor negotiations, material selection, site visits, and coordinating with production and workshop teams. Responsibilities

Project Leadership:

Oversee and manage interior design projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with client specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Client Management:

Coordinate with clients to understand their needs, manage expectations, and provide progress updates.

Design and Planning:

Lead the conceptualization and design of furniture and interior spaces, including creating technical drawings and specifications.

Budget and Timeline Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Team Supervision:

Lead and supervise interior designers, site supervisors, and other project team members.

Vendor and Material Management:

Handle vendor negotiations, material selection, and procurement, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.

Quality and Site Management:

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and resolve any issues that arise during execution.

Coordination:

Act as the central point of communication between clients, designers, contractors, production teams, and workshops.
Qualifications and skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

Several years of project management experience in interior design or a similar field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp; knowledge of construction drawings.

Management Skills:

Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Financial Skills:

Experience with budget management and financial control.

Other Skills:
