Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented

Senior Interior Designer (2D)

with

4-5 years of professional experience

in residential and/or commercial interior design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality 2D design drawings, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring design concepts are translated accurately into execution-ready documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed

2D drawings

including floor plans, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings Prepare

working drawings and construction documents

as per project requirements Interpret client briefs and convert them into functional and aesthetic design solutions Coordinate with 3D designers, site engineers, vendors, and project managers for smooth execution Ensure all drawings comply with

design standards, building codes, and project specifications

Review and revise drawings based on client feedback and site conditions Assist in material selection, finishes, and basic BOQ preparation (if required) Support junior designers by reviewing drawings and providing technical guidance Attend client meetings and site visits when required
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in

Interior Design / Architecture

or a related field

4-5 years of hands-on experience

in interior design with strong focus on 2D documentation Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(mandatory) Working knowledge of

MS Office

Basic understanding of

3D software

(SketchUp / 3ds Max) is an advantage Strong understanding of

space planning, detailing, and construction drawings

Good communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Experience

Experience in

residential, commercial, or hospitality projects

Knowledge of local building norms and execution practices Exposure to turnkey or design-build projects
