We are looking for a

Senior HVAC Design Engineer

to join our growing

MEP Design & Engineering Team

at Axium's Global Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and work on international projects across commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, and laboratory sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead HVAC design projects from concept to detailed design and documentation (including BOQ, specifications, schedules, and drawings). Ensure designs meet current codes, standards, and best practices (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.). Regularly communicate with global clients and manage project expectations. Mentor and support junior engineers in the team. Work on sustainability-focused and energy-efficient HVAC solutions. Utilize design software like Trane Trace, IES VE, Camel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Review and ensure high-quality deliverables free from errors. Coordinate across disciplines within the MEP team.

Skills & Experience Required:

BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering. 6+ years of experience in HVAC design within the MEP industry. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems for commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, and lab projects. Familiarity with US, UK, or Australia building standards is a plus. Excellent communication skills for client interaction. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Pay: ?900,000.00 - ?1,500,000.00 per year
