Job Summary:



The School HR Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the human resources functions within the school. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager will play a key role in shaping the school culture, improving employee engagement, and ensuring HR policies and practices align with the overall educational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring.

- Design and implement effective onboarding programs that integrate new hires into the school culture and prepare them for success.

2. Employee Relations:

- Cultivate a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and providing support in resolving issues.

- Act as a trusted point of contact for staff regarding HR inquiries, grievances, or requests for clarification on policies.

3. Performance Management:

- Oversee the implementation of performance review processes, ensuring regular feedback and alignment with school goals.

- Collaborate with school leadership to define performance standards and provide coaching to staff members as needed.

4. Training and Development:

- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and career development opportunities.

- Coordinate professional development activities including training sessions, workshops, and seminars aimed at enhancing staff capabilities.

5. HR Policy and Compliance:

- Develop, implement, and continuously update HR policies to ensure compliance with labor laws and best practices.

- Ensure all school HR activities are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

- Manage the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.

- Monitor market trends and conduct salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and attractive benefits packages.

7. Employee Engagement and Retention:

- Implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

- Conduct regular employee surveys, focus groups, or one-on-one feedback sessions to measure morale and identify areas for improvement.

8. HR Data and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction levels.

- Leverage HR data to make informed decisions and improve HR practices and employee outcomes.

9. Payroll Support:

- Oversee and support the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of salaries, bonuses, and deductions for all employees.

- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve payroll-related issues and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure that benefits, deductions, and other payroll-related data are accurately reflected.

- Assist with periodic payroll audits to ensure adherence to school policies and legal requirements.

10. Leadership and Team Management:

- Supervise and support the HR team, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback.

- Lead by example in fostering a collaborative, efficient, and employee-centered HR department.

Qualifications:



- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HR management or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:



- Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.

- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).

- Experience in an educational setting or managing school HR functions.

- Knowledge of educational policies and best practices.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ?500,000.00 per year
