Key Responsibilities
:
Oversee and ensure compliance with all
local and international labor laws
, industrial regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Lead and manage
audits
related to labor law compliance, safety, and industrial regulations, and work closely with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Develop and implement robust
HR policies and practices
that align with industry regulations and corporate objectives.
Act as the key liaison between management, industry associations, government bodies, and labor unions to maintain healthy
industry and labor relations
.
Monitor industrial operations to ensure that employee welfare, safety standards, and statutory obligations are met at all times.
Proactively manage workplace safety programs, ensuring proper implementation of
safety management systems
(like ISO 45001 or equivalent).
Resolve labor disputes or grievances in a fair and efficient manner, maintaining a harmonious industrial environment.
Stay updated with changes in labor laws and international compliance requirements, ensuring the organization remains compliant at all times.
Lead internal training programs related to compliance, safety regulations, labor welfare, and industrial best practices.
Manage periodic inspections, reports, and necessary filings with government and regulatory authorities.
Provide strategic HR inputs to senior leadership regarding workforce planning, policy improvements, compliance risks, and industry best practices.
Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, safety culture, and welfare programs in line with organizational values and industrial regulations.
Handle escalation of complex HR compliance or industrial relation issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
Key Skills & Qualifications
:
Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or relevant discipline.
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in an industrial HR role, preferably handling
international compliance, audits, and industrial relations
.
Strong knowledge of local and international labor laws, industrial safety regulations, welfare schemes, and compliance frameworks.
Proven experience in managing industry relations, labor welfare programs, safety audits, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent understanding of industry safety standards and labor welfare practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle complex industrial relations matters tactfully and professionally.
High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in HRMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
