Qualification
: MBA (HR) / PG Diploma in PM & IR
Experience
: 7-10 Years (Must be from Industrial / Manufacturing / Plant Operations environment)
Job Purpose
To manage and execute end-to-end Human Resource activities at site level including Payroll, Statutory Compliance, Employee Relations, IR activities, Contract Labour Management, and Employee Engagement ensuring smooth HR operations in line with organizational policies and legal/statutory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management
Collect and verify attendance, overtime, leave records, and shift details from operations/site departments.
Ensure accurate monthly payroll processing for employees and contract workforce within defined timelines.
Coordinate with Accounts / Corporate HR for salary disbursement.
Handle queries related to pay slips, overtime payments, deductions (PF, ESIC, LWF), and reimbursement claims.
Statutory Compliance & IR
Ensure 100% compliance with all labour laws as per
Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wage Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act
, etc.
Maintain statutory records: Forms, Muster Rolls, Wage Registers, OT registers, Leave Records.
Coordinate with Contractors for CLRA compliances including:
PF/ESIC challans
Monthly returns
Labour licence renewals
Liaisoning with local statutory authorities, Labour Department, ESIC, PF Officials.
Support management in handling Industrial Relations (IR) issues with a proactive approach.
Contract Labour Management (CLM)
Monitor attendance, deployment & productivity of contract workforce.
Validate contractor bills based on manpower strength and statutory compliances.
Ensure all contractors adhere to safety & statutory norms.
Grievance Handling / ER
Act as a key point of contact for employee issues and grievances.
Ensure timely resolution of grievances related to payroll, shift, OT, facilities, accommodation, etc.
Maintain healthy employee relations between management and employees/contract workers.
HR Operations & Admin Support
Manage onboarding process - induction, documentation, ID card, PPE issue, etc.
Maintain up-to-date personnel files & HR MIS reports (Headcount, Attrition, Late/Absent report, etc.).
Assist in camp administration, canteen, transport & accommodation activities (as required for site HR).
Training & Employee Engagement
Identify training needs and coordinate for TBT / behavioural / technical trainings.
Plan and conduct engagement activities, communication meetings, and welfare initiatives.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of payroll, HR operations, and statutory compliance.
Sound understanding of Industrial Relations (IR) & labour law.
Good communication skills (Hindi & English mandatory; Odia preferred).
Hands-on experience in HRMS / SAP / ERP tools.
