Process end-to-end payroll for employees (monthly/bi-weekly/weekly, depending on company cycle).
Ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement, considering deductions, bonuses, and adjustments.
Maintain employee data in payroll software (e.g., salary structure, tax declarations, bank details).
Coordinate with the finance department for payroll funding and reconciliation.
Handle statutory compliance: PF, ESI, TDS, Gratuity, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws.
Prepare and submit payroll reports, salary slips, and Form 16.
Assist employees with payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor attendance and leave records to ensure payroll accuracy.
Stay updated with labor laws and payroll regulations and apply changes as necessary.
Support audits by preparing payroll records and documentation.
Liaise with external vendors (if payroll is partially outsourced).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
4+ years of experience in manufacturing industries HR operations.
Thorough understanding of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
