Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Human Resources (HR):



1. Implement HR policies, procedures, and systems in line with company and statutory requirements.

2. Support manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.

3. Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, and leave management.

4. Coordinate with payroll team for smooth payroll processing.

5. Manage employee performance management processes and support training programs.

Industrial Relations (IR):



1. Maintain harmonious industrial relations with workers and unions.

2. Handle disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and grievance redressal mechanisms.

3. Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws (Factories Act, ID Act, CLRA, etc.).

4. Liaise with government bodies and statutory authorities.

5. Maintain statutory registers, returns, and timely submissions (PF, ESI, PT, etc.).

6. Conduct regular meetings with workmen representatives/unions.

Requirements:



1. Education: MSW (Master of Social Work) or equivalent with specialization in HR/IR.

2. Experience: 5-8 years of experience in HR and IR functions within the manufacturing sector.

Skills:



1. Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.

2. Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

3. Ability to handle unions and maintain industrial harmony.

4. Proficient in MS Office and HRIS tools.

5. Fluent in Kannada and English (spoken & written).
