Position Overview
The
Sr. Executive - HR
will play a key role in strengthening the HR function, managing talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and supporting the overall people strategy of the organization. The person will work closely with the management and site teams to ensure smooth HR operations across corporate and project locations.
End-to-end hiring for technical, managerial, and site-level positions.
Screening, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with department heads.
Maintaining candidate pipelines and recruitment dashboards.
Developing job descriptions and posting vacancies on portals.
2. Onboarding & Induction
Preparing appointment letters, offer letters, and onboarding documents.
Conducting induction programs for new employees.
Coordinating with IT/Admin for smooth joining formalities.
3. HR Operations & Documentation
Maintaining employee records in HRMS files and ensuring data accuracy.
Handling attendance, leave management, and monthly HR reports.
Managing confirmation, transfers, increments, and separation procedures.
4. Payroll Coordination
Collating attendance, overtime, leave details, etc. for payroll processing.
Coordinating with the accounts department for salary disbursement.
Handling employee queries regarding salary, TDS, PF/ESI deductions, etc.
5. Statutory Compliance
Ensuring compliance with PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus Act, and other labour laws.
Coordinating with consultants for timely filing and returns.
Maintaining statutory registers and documentation for audits.
6. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Planning and executing engagement activities, training sessions, and welfare initiatives.
Addressing employee grievances professionally and maintaining a positive work environment.
Supporting management in implementing HR policies and culture-building processes.
7. Performance Management
Coordinating the annual/quarterly appraisal cycle.
Tracking KRAs/KPIs and maintaining performance records.
Assisting in employee development programs.
8. Liaison & Coordination
Coordinating with site HR/administration teams across India.
Supporting management in HR audits, manpower planning, and organizational development.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of HR operations and labour compliances
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle recruitment independently
Good command over MS Excel, HRMS tools, and documentation
Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under deadlines
Professionalism, confidentiality, and ownership mindset
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
Experience:
2-4 years in HR roles (experience in construction, engineering, water treatment, or manufacturing industry preferred)
Age:
24-35 years
