Key Responsibilities:
Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure all rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained as per resort standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, corridors, and common areas.
Train, mentor, and manage the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service.
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback for improvement.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities, ensuring timely procurement and stock control.
Coordinate with the front office and maintenance departments to handle guest requests and room readiness.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Address guest complaints and resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly.
Prepare duty rosters and schedules to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor laundry operations and maintain the quality of linen and uniforms
Requirements:
? Minimum
5 years of experience
in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel.
? Strong leadership and communication skills.
? Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
? Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety procedures.
? Proficiency in handling housekeeping software is an advantage.
? Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements.
