Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join our automotive electronics team. You will be responsible for designing and developing robust high-performance electronic hardware for automotive ECUs. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive standards safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

Design and develop analog and digital circuits for automotive electronic control units ECUs.


Create schematics using tools like Altium Designer Mentor Graphics or Cadence.


Work with PCB layout engineers for the improvement of PCB design as per applicable standards


Perform simulations signal integrity and thermal analysis to ensure design robustness.


Select automotive-grade components and ensure compliance with AEC-Q standards.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software mechanical and systems engineering.


Conduct hardware validation and testing -EMI EMC thermal vibration etc. as per automotive standards.


Support DFMEA DVP&R and PPAP documentation for product development.


Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 -Functional Safety ASPICE and other relevant standards.


Interface with suppliers and manufacturing teams for prototyping and production support.


Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering.


5+ years of experience in hardware design preferably in the automotive domain.


Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.


Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols -CAN LIN.


Experience with EMI EMC design practices and validation.


Familiarity with ISO 26262 and functional safety concepts.


Hands-on experience with lab equipment -oscilloscopes logic analyzers etc..


Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills.
