The Senior Guest Service Associate is responsible for ensuring outstanding guest experiences through efficient, courteous, and personalized service. This role supports daily restaurant operations, assists in supervising service staff, and maintains high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring prompt and professional service.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely service.
Anticipate guest needs and handle inquiries or complaints efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions.
Ensure service areas and tables are clean, organized, and properly set up at all times.
Support team members during busy operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Train and guide junior service staff when required.
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards as per company and local regulations.
Accurately handle billing, payments, and POS transactions.
Promote upselling and suggestive selling to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
2-4 years of restaurant or F&B service experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
Strong product knowledge and passion for hospitality.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Proficient in POS systems and basic cash handling.
Well-groomed, professional appearance, and positive attitude.
