Position: Social Media Manager Experienced required for the job: 4 - 10 years. Annual Salary of the Job: 4.2 - 5.4 lacs. (Depend on the final round of interview ) Job Location: Mumbai Central. A Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and executing social media strategies for a company or organization. Their primary role is to enhance brand awareness, engage with the target audience, and drive user engagement and conversions through various social media platforms. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the role of a Social Media Manager : Strategy Development: Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company\'s overall marketing objectives and target audience. This involves understanding the brand\'s voice, tone, and values, as well as conducting market research and competitor analysis. Content Creation : Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats. This may involve writing copy, designing graphics, editing videos, or coordinating with content creators. Social Media Management: Manage and maintain the company\'s presence on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others. This includes posting regular updates, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring user engagement. Community Management: Foster a strong online community by engaging with followers, responding to their queries and concerns, and building relationships with influencers and brand advocates. This involves actively monitoring conversations and trends related to the brand or industry. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversions, and return on investment (ROI). Utilize social media analytics tools to generate reports and insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize social media performance. Campaign Execution: Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to achieve specific marketing objectives, such as product launches, brand awareness, lead generation, or event promotion. This includes setting campaign goals, creating ad content, managing budgets, and monitoring results. Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Monitor emerging platforms and technologies that may be relevant to the company\'s social media strategy and make recommendations for their implementation. Collaboration: Coordinate with other teams or departments within the organization, such as marketing, PR, design, and customer service, to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless integration of social media efforts with other marketing initiatives. Crisis Management: Be prepared to handle any potential social media crises or negative feedback in a timely and professional manner. Develop strategies and guidelines for handling sensitive situations and work with the appropriate teams to address issues effectively. Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement. Test and optimize strategies, content formats, and advertising campaigns to achieve better results and meet evolving business goals.
