Job Responsibilities:
Job Introduction
FuSa Lead (Software) is responsible for Complete life cycle of ADAS Product development in line with Magna Tools and Process to comply with Functional Safety as per ISO 26262 standard.
Knowledge and Education
B. Tech /BE/ M.S/MTECH in Electrical/ E & C or Computer Engineering
At least 5+ years of working experience in Automotive Industry is must
ISO 26262 Functional Safety Level-1 and Level 2 certification is preferred
Work Experience
8+ years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety domain (ISO 26262)
Experience in functional safety process development life cycle
Experience in SDLC stages and exposure to Agile SW methodologies.
Supporting FSM in developing DIA, functional safety plan, method selection, safety case and production release report
Experience in review and elicitation of supplier safety manual especially related to software SEOOC
Experience in drafting TSC/TSR, based on safety-oriented system analysis
Experience in writing SSR and design allocation of SSRs to elements of preliminary software architecture
Experience in refinement of HSI for hardware controlled by SW.
Support creation of safety views of software architecture with appropriate modelling notations.
Perform safety-oriented software analysis on architectural and component levels including FMEA/FTA, FFI and SW DFA.
Perform SW Tool Qualification as per ISO26262::2018 part 8
Perform SW component qualification as per ISO26262::2018 part 8.
Perform peer review of software safety WPs
Good understanding of standard safety mechanisms provided by Autosar (safe BSW, Safe communication, Safe OS, safe RTE etc.).
Support SW testing teams with verification criteria and software safety test strategy which includes applicable test methods, test case design methods and achievement of coverage metrices at different test levels.
Good understanding of MISRA rules and coding standards for C and C++.
Interaction with stakeholder, resolving issues and meeting their expectation
Assist with reviews of product and cross functional teams to ensure requirements standards are being met throughout product development cycles
Clarify both customer and Internal cross functional teams on the system requirements and resolve the technical conflicts related system requirements
Identify strategic changes required w.r.t to Functional safety
Establish the bidirectional traceability, Review, and ensure end to end Traceability across various phases of FuSa development life cycle
Preferably Good knowledge of systems, features, ADAS & VISION Systems (Camera, LIDAR, RADAR, Ultrasonic Sensors, DMS etc)
Support safety audits, safety assessments and relevant work product confirmation reviews.

Actively Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities
Understanding of SOTIF -21448, UL 4600
Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of MS Office
PLM and ALM tools (Windchill / Codebeamer)
