Job Description

SGBI is looking for a full-time Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain our enterprise-grade cloud and edge computing platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend services in Python, creating intuitive, responsive web interfaces with React, and integrating data workflows with MySQL. The Full Stack Developer will work closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and designers to deliver secure, high-performance, and user-friendly applications that power our multi-tenant cloud solution and GPU-enabled edge nodes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across the stack using React.js, Python, and MySQL. Build and optimise RESTful APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI / Flask / Django). Develop responsive, modern web interfaces from Figma designs, ensuring a smooth, intuitive user experience. Implement data models, business logic, and integrations with internal and external systems. Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of both cloud and on-prem components. Work closely with DevOps to containerise services and automate CI/CD pipelines. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and code review standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, UX, and Security teams to ensure reliable and compliant releases. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimise system performance. Contribute to architectural discussions and help evolve the technology stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4 - 8 years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Software Engineer in a product development environment. Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) for backend development. Solid experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 for frontend development. Proficiency in MySQL (schema design, query optimisation, ORM frameworks). Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT) and role-based access control (RBAC). Working knowledge of Docker and container-based deployments. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps workflows. Strong understanding of scalable application design, microservices, and cloud-native architectures. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to TypeScript, Next.js, or GraphQL. Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or event-driven architectures. Familiarity with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm). Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Background in multi-tenant SaaS, edge computing, or GPU-based workloads.
