Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all mechanical equipment related to the kiln and cooler sections. This includes diagnosing problems and troubleshooting machinery failures to minimize downtime.
Assemble, install, and commission new mechanical systems, parts, and heavy equipment, ensuring all components are fitted with high precision and accuracy.
Conduct regular inspections to check for proper function and safety compliance. After repairs, test and commission equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment, to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components and parts as needed.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair work.
Handle the maintenance of equipment such as belt conveyors, fans, hydraulic systems, and mills, which are all part of the kiln's operation.
Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and any mechanical issues identified.
Work effectively with engineers, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and improve plant performance.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
