The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within the hospitality or F&B sector and a proven ability to lead financial strategy in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the restaurant chain's business objectives.
Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and outlet-wise budgets.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
Manage cash flow, capital planning, and investment decisions to support operations and growth.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process for all locations.
Provide financial support and insights to the operations team to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
Enhance and implement financial systems, controls, and processes to streamline operations.
Maintain strong relationships with external financial partners including vendors, banks, and auditors.
Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to develop pricing and promotional strategies.
Stay informed about market dynamics, competitor financial performance, and industry benchmarks.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous growth.
Contribute to executive leadership discussions by providing financial analysis and strategic insights.
Communicate financial results, forecasts, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
In-depth understanding of financial principles, practices, taxation, and compliance.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in interpreting complex financial data.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced MS Excel/financial software.
CA/ICWA/MBA Finance or relevant qualification is preferred.
