of Sr. Executive/Executive-Quality

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Inspection & Control

Conduct in-process and final inspections of furniture, panels, joinery, and finishes. Inspect raw materials such as wood, veneers, boards, laminates, and hardware upon receipt. Verify dimensions, craftsmanship, and finishing quality as per design drawings and specifications. Identify defects, non-conformities, and communicate corrective actions to the production team.

2. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality checklists. Prepare daily and weekly quality performance reports. Maintain and update quality standards and SOPs. Record and track rework/rejection data and analyze trends.

3. Process & System Improvement

Implement quality improvement initiatives and preventive measures. Suggest process improvements to minimize defects and material wastage. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management systems.

4. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with production, design, and dispatch teams for quality-related concerns. Work with vendors for quality assurance of outsourced components or finishes. Support client inspections and handle feedback or quality complaints professionally.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

wood materials, veneers, laminates, adhesives, and finishes

. Understanding of

furniture manufacturing processes

(CNC, edge banding, assembly, polishing, etc.). Familiar with

measuring tools, gauges, and inspection methods

. Attention to detail and good documentation skills. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Wood Technology or related field.

3-6 years

of experience in quality assurance/control in

wood, furniture, or interior fit-out industry.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
