Manage and record daily accounting transactions including purchase, sales, expenses, journal entries, and petty cash.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Perform daily reconciliation of accounts, stock, and cash.
TDS & GST Compliance:
Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS as per Income Tax Act.
Prepare and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q).
Maintain records for Input Tax Credit (ITC), and prepare GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
Assist in GST audits and departmental inquiries.
Export-Import Documentation:
Coordinate with the logistics team for preparation of export invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and other customs documentation.
Ensure compliance with all export-import regulations (DGFT, ICEGATE, etc.).
Handle bank documentation for Letter of Credit (LC), Bill of Lading (BL), Advance Payment, and other forex-related matters.
MIS & Reporting:
Prepare regular MIS reports on production cost, inventory valuation, expenses, and profitability.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
Provide variance analysis and financial insights to management.
Audit & Compliance:
Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary data and reconciliations.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
Assist in preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
Required Skills
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IND AS, Tally, or ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and other statutory compliances.
Familiarity with export-import documentation procedures and DGFT regulations.
Proficiency in Excel, Tally, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Good communication and coordination skills.
