About the Role:

Sr. Executive - SCM (Sugar)

, your mission will be to manage the procurement of

Sugar

and other sweeteners, ensuring a seamless flow of production and supply that aligns with customer requirements. You'll be at the heart of our operations, working closely with suppliers, mills, and multiple departments to achieve segment goals within budget, on time, and with full compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management & Sourcing:

Take charge of sourcing

Organic Cane Sugar

,

Coconut Sugar

, and other sweeteners. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely procurement of raw materials.

Team Leadership & Target Management:

Lead the

Suminter team

at the sugar factory, setting clear targets and ensuring that

export goals

are met within deadlines.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with

Sales

,

Logistics

,

Certifications

, and

3rd Party Vendors

to ensure smooth production and timely exports. Share

PPIC

with relevant teams for seamless execution of export processes.

Compliance Management:

Stay on top of

commercial and statutory compliances

for both domestic and export operations. Ensure all certifications are in place and adhered to.

Contract & Agreement Management:

Manage

annual contracts

and agreements with vendors and service providers across the segment to ensure mutually beneficial relationships and competitive pricing.

SAP Management & Bill Processing:

Utilize

SAP

to ensure vendor bills are processed on time and payments are made without delays. Support internal teams in tracking services, receiving bills, and booking them accurately in the system.

Third-Party Contract & Inventory Management:

Oversee

3rd Party Contract management

and keep a close eye on

inventory levels

to ensure timely procurement and reduce wastage and pilferage.

Financial Insight & Reporting:

Prepare

annual budgets

,

MIS reports

, and provide insights to improve operational processes and efficiency across the board.

Vendor Network Expansion:

Actively

network with new vendors

to drive

cost reduction

and improve efficiency across the supply chain.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure timely replacement of

procured goods

in case of quality issues. Maintain clear traceability of

purchases, sales, and consumption

.

Post-Shipping Support:

Provide ongoing support to the

Sales

and

International Logistics

teams after shipments, ensuring all aspects are covered and any challenges are quickly resolved.

Critical Segment Support:

Be ready to step up and meet critical requirements for other segments as needed, showcasing flexibility and agility in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Profile:

Education:

MBA in

Supply Chain Management (SCM)

or

PG Diploma in Export-Import

,

International Trade

, or similar.

Experience:

A minimum of

5 years of experience

in

procurement of agro commodities or food ingredients

, with a strong understanding of

commercial and statutory compliance

, particularly for

domestic and export operations

.

Industry Experience:

Preferably from the

Food Export industry

, especially in organizations where

GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative)

certifications are implemented.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in

SAP

, able to

generate accurate reports

and handle system-related activities effectively.
