Job Overview:
We are hiring a Senior Executive - Sales & to drive business growth in Gujarat, targeting the forging, casting, and steel manufacturing industries.
This is a field-intensive, target-driven role involving regular client meetings, technical discussions, and site coordination.
The ideal candidate must be technically proficient, capable of independent client servicing, and experienced in industrial field sales.
Candidates must own a personal mode of transport (two-wheeler preferred).
This is a resident job, and candidates are expected to travel from their residence for client meetings and site work.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales of forging, casting, and steel-related products/solutions
Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business
Conduct field visits to identify client needs and explore new opportunities
Generate leads via industry mapping, trade events, and exhibitions
Handle quotations, pricing, and deal closures
Customer Support & Technical Coordination:
Oversee product application, trials, and client servicing in the field
Coordinate with technical teams for demos and trials
Address client feedback and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction
Document trial outcomes and report insights to the sales manager
Market Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing
Provide strategic inputs to enhance market presence
Submit regular reports on sales performance, targets, and key insights
Logistics & Operations Support:
Coordinate internally for timely delivery, dispatches, and material planning
Follow up for payments and maintain updated sales and service logs
Liaise with back-end teams to resolve order or service-related concerns
Provide weekly reports on visits, sales status, and pending issues
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing
PG (MBA/PGDM) preferred but not mandatory
Experience:
4-5 years of field sales or technical sales experience in steel, forging, or die-casting industries
Proven experience in site visits, client servicing, and product demonstrations
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of spray systems, lubricants, or relevant engineering products
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Good command of written communication and email etiquette
Soft Skills:
Effective interpersonal and client-handling skills
Strong follow-up, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently
Comfortable working in a field-intensive role with regular travel
Other Requirements:
Male candidates only (due to field nature of the role)
Fluent in English and Gujrati language
Willingness to travel frequently within Gujarat
Must own a two-wheeler
Occasional travel to Mumbai and Pune offices on a quarterly basis may be required.
