Job Description


As a Sr.Executive (Sales), your main objective will be to promote and sell products by the company to various retailers, distributors, and individuals. You will play a crucial role in expanding the reach of the companys publications and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, pitching and presenting books to potential buyers, negotiating sales agreements, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends, monitor competitor activities, and provide feedback to the publishing team. Responsibilities: 1. Promote and sell books published by the company to bookstores, Schools online retailers, distributors, libraries, and individual customers. 2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including booksellers, wholesalers, and distributors. 3. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by researching potential clients and market trends. 4. Pitch and present books to prospective buyers, highlighting their key features, benefits, and target audience. 5. Negotiate sales agreements, including pricing, discounts, and terms, to secure book orders. 6. Provide product information, catalogues, and promotional materials to retailers and customers. 7. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities. 8. Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide feedback to the publishing team for future book development. 9. Attend book fairs, trade shows, and industry events to showcase company publications, network with industry professionals, and generate leads. 10. Stay updated on industry news, emerging authors, popular genres, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities. 11. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. 12. Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, order status, and customer feedback, for management review. Requirements: 1. Proven experience as a Sales Representative in the book publishing industry or related field. 2. In-depth knowledge of the book market, including bookstores, distributors, and online retailers. 3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively pitch and promote books. 4. Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities. 5. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 6. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools. 7. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 8. Passion for books and a keen understanding of different genres and readership preferences. 9. Willingness to travel to attend industry events and meet with clients. 10. Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)
