Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Purchase Executive

with experience in sourcing and procurement for

Special Purpose Machine (SPM) manufacturing

. The ideal candidate will manage vendor development, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely procurement of components, tools, and materials needed for custom machine production.

Key Responsibilities:

? Source and procure mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation components used in SPM manufacturing.

? Develop and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely deliveries.

? Evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

? Raise purchase orders (POs) and maintain procurement records in ERP systems.

? Follow up with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules.

? Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to understand material requirements and lead times.

? Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering of critical items to avoid shortages.

? Ensure procurement complies with quality standards and company policies.

? Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

? Resolve issues related to invoice discrepancies, delayed deliveries, and quality complaints.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.

2-5 years of experience in procurement in an SPM or industrial equipment manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials).

Familiarity with components like motors, gearboxes, sensors, actuators, PLCs, and machine tooling.

Proficiency in using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally, or custom systems).

Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
