Role Summary:



The Senior Executive - Project Management is responsible for independently managing assigned workstreams within New Product Development (NPD) and Current Product Development (CPD) projects, including diesel engine development programs. The role involves full ownership of Project Management activities for specific deliverables, while also supporting broader project coordination. This position is ideal for professionals with growing leadership capabilities and a strong foundation in structured project management.



Key Responsibilities :



Initiating:



Define scope and objectives for assigned work packages.


Identify stakeholders and document initial requirements.


Planning:



Develop detailed plans for assigned deliverables including schedule, cost, and resource estimates.


Contribute to integrated planning for engine builds, part development, and cost targets.


Executing:



Lead execution of assigned tasks and coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement).


Conduct CFT meetings for specific workstreams and ensure timely completion of action items.


Ensure readiness for engine builds at defined maturity levels.


Monitoring & Controlling:



Track progress using dashboards and project trackers.


Monitor risks and issues; maintain risk register and implement mitigation plans.


Track CapEx and operating expenses for assigned areas; support financial reporting.


Monitor BoM cost and support cost reduction initiatives.


Closing:



Document lessons learned and contribute to project closure reports.


Archive records and ensure completion of assigned deliverables.



Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (MBA preferred)


3-5 years of experience in project execution roles.


Exposure to NPD/CPD projects, production processes, and part development cycles is desirable.



Skills & Competencies:



Solid understanding of project management lifecycle and PMI methodologies.


Ability to independently manage tasks across IPECC process groups.


Familiarity with manufacturing and product development processes.


Proficiency in MS Office tools and project management software.


Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
