Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a fresh MBA graduate (Operations/Supply Chain specialization preferred) to join our dynamic team as an Assistant Inventory Controller - Control Tower. This is a field-intensive role involving extensive travel (up to 18 days/month) to our various warehouse sites, ensuring real-time inventory accuracy, process compliance, and performance optimization.

This role is ideal for a recent postgraduate eager to gain hands-on experience across multi-location warehouse operations while contributing to a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Control & Accuracy Monitor real-time inventory tracking across warehouses. Conduct physical audits, cycle counts, and analyze variances. Support stock reconciliation and adjustment processes. Help improve inventory accuracy through SOPs and compliance. 2. Control Tower Operations Assist in managing centralized inventory visibility. Use WMS and analytics tools to monitor stock movement. Support resolution of inventory bottlenecks and stock imbalances. 3. Process Optimization & Compliance Support creation and enforcement of SOPs. Ensure adherence to inventory control policies and standards. Participate in the implementation of tech-enabled inventory solutions. Train local teams under supervision on best inventory practices. 4. Travel & On-Site Support Travel to warehouse sites for audits, training, and operational checks. Assist inventory teams in real-time troubleshooting. Provide feedback and support for on-ground process improvement. 5. Reporting & Data Analytics Prepare basic inventory reports and performance metrics. Analyze KPIs like fill rate, stock turnover, and shrinkage. Share data insights with seniors for informed decision-making.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong interest in inventory control, supply chain, or warehouse operations. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems is a plus (training provided). Effective communication and teamwork mindset. Eagerness to learn and adapt to fast-moving warehouse environments.
Qualifications:

MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management (2024/2025 batch pass-out preferred). Freshers welcome; relevant internships/projects in supply chain/inventory management are an advantage. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 18 days/month).
Work Environment:

Frequent travel to warehouse locations. Active involvement in audits and real-time operations. Exposure to multi-location inventory control practices and technologies

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
