AKA Logistics is seeking a meticulous and proactive Audit Executive to join our finance and compliance team. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits across various departments such as HR, inventory management, and revenue functions. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with statutory requirements, identify risk areas, and recommend improvements for enhanced internal control and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct internal audits across multiple business functions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Execute HR audits focused on verifying compliance with labor laws, HR policies, payroll accuracy, and proper maintenance of employee records.
Perform stock audits involving physical stock verification and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to control procedures.
Conduct revenue audits to validate correct revenue recognition, billing accuracy, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Support audit and assurance projects aimed at strengthening transparency, risk identification, and control effectiveness.
Identify process inefficiencies, risks, and operational gaps; provide actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, observations, and suggestions for improvement.
Assist management in developing, implementing, and enhancing internal control frameworks aligned with business strategy.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities during statutory audits, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies, financial accounting principles, and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Specification
Education - Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
Professional Certification - Mandatory certification such as CIA, CA Intermediate, CWA Intermediate, or equivalent
Experience - 2 to 5 years of experience in internal audit, with hands-on exposure to HR, stock, and revenue audits
Technical Knowledge - Strong understanding of labor laws, payroll processes, inventory controls, revenue accounting standards, and audit methodologies
