Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Executive - Accounts & Finance

to join our team in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, cost analysis, compliance, and supporting audits. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including inventory valuation, cost accounting, and GST compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. Monitor manufacturing costs, perform cost variance analysis, and ensure accurate inventory valuation. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax. Coordinate with internal teams for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Assist in statutory, tax, and internal audits by providing required data and resolving audit queries. Manage vendor payments, customer collections, and ensure timely reconciliations. Liaise with banks for transactions, documentation, and reporting as required. Support implementation and maintenance of ERP/accounting systems. Continuously identify process improvement opportunities in finance and accounts functions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, MBA - Finance). CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred but not mandatory. 3-5 years of experience in finance & accounts, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Good understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing finance workflows. Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and direct tax laws. Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
