We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimation & Budgeting Engineer to lead the cost planning, estimation, and budgeting for high-rise residential and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing detailed project estimates, rate analysis, cost control, and quantity take-offs, along with strong knowledge of market rates, construction methodologies, and contract management.
Qualifications & Experience:
B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience:
Minimum 12 years in estimation, budgeting, and cost control for large-scale residential & commercial high-rise buildings Strong understanding of RCC, finishing, facade, MEP, and external development components Knowledge of market rates, DSR, and local construction practices.
Software Proficiency:
AutoCAD, MS Excel (Advanced), MS Project/Primavera
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for all civil, finishing, structural, MEP, and external development works based on architectural and structural drawings. Prepare quantity take-offs from GFC drawings using software tools or manually. Prepare rate analysis for various construction activities based on market rates, CPWD norms, and standard data.
2. Budgeting & Cost Planning:
Prepare project budgets based on approved design, specification, and BOQs. Develop cost control procedures and tracking systems to monitor expenditure against budget. Maintain and update cost databases and benchmarks for future reference.
3. Cost Monitoring & Control:
Monitor actual project cost vs. budget on a monthly/quarterly basis. Prepare cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete projections. Analyze and report on cost deviations and propose corrective actions.
4. Coordination & Documentation:
Coordinate with planning, execution, procurement, and design teams to align budgets with actual site requirements. Maintain proper documentation of all estimation files, rate analysis, and budget revisions.
