We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ERP Business Analyst who will act as a key bridge between customer requirements and solution delivery, ensuring business needs are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into scalable ERP implementations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how businesses operate and translating that understanding into effective ERP solutions. The ERP Business Analyst works closely with customers and internal teams to ensure clarity, alignment, and successful delivery across the ERP lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Customer Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Management
Lead detailed requirement gathering for ERP implementations across business
functions such as Finance, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, CRM, and Operations
Interface with client stakeholders and engagement partners to understand
RFP/RFI requirements and business expectations
Ensure complete capture of both stated and unstated business needs through
structured discussions and analysis
2. Solution Analysis & Functional Documentation
Translate business requirements into clear functional and non-functional
specifications aligned with ERP capabilities
Create process flows, AS-IS / TO-BE models, workflow diagrams, and system
specifications
Analyze system capabilities to ensure optimal utilization of standard ERP
features before recommending customizations
3. RFP / RFI Solutioning & Pre-Sales Support
Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and technical leads to design
accurate and competitive ERP solutions
Stitch together end-to-end RFP/RFI responses, ensuring functional, technical, and
commercial alignment
Assess and communicate the financial and operational impact of proposed ERP
changes or enhancements
4. Customer Engagement & Solution Validation
Maintain regular cadence with customers for requirement validation,
clarifications, and solution alignment
Present and demonstrate ERP solutions, prototypes, or workflows to enable
customer understanding and confidence
Incorporate customer feedback into solution design and guide delivery teams on
required changes
5. Delivery Team Collaboration & Quality Assurance
Act as a functional bridge between customers and ERP delivery teams
Share customer inputs and business priorities with consultants and developers
Review test cases to ensure 100% coverage of documented business
requirements
Support QA activities through functional validation, integration testing, and UAT
participation
6. Change Management & Continuous Improvement
Facilitate and manage change requests while evaluating their impact on ERP
architecture, timelines, and cost
Conduct root cause analysis on solution gaps or deviations before customer
presentations
Use data modeling and analysis to recommend functional improvements and
process optimizations
7. Project & Delivery Support
Support Project Managers and Principal Consultants in defining project
milestones and delivery phases
Challenge delivery assumptions to ensure feasibility, scalability, and business
alignment
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality ERP solutions and overall customer
satisfaction
8. Domain Expertise & Knowledge Contribution
Collaborate with other Business Analysts to share ERP knowledge and best
practices
Contribute to internal knowledge repositories through case studies, whitepapers,
and reusable use cases
Conduct market and ERP ecosystem research to provide updated insights for
ongoing and future projects
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise workflows
Experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation, and solution design
Ability to balance standard process frameworks with business-specific requirements
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Must-Haves:
5-9 years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise or technology-driven
environments
Hands-on experience working on solution implementation or pre-sales engagements
Exposure to multiple business domains such as Finance, Sales, Operations, Supply
Chain, CRM, or HR
Comfortable interacting with customers, pre-sales teams, and delivery stakeholders
Strong interest in building scalable, business-driven solutions
