:

Scope of Role

• Engineer is involved in the design and development of new product and providing design solutions as per client requirements.
• He is responsible for requirements study, feasibility check, creating concepts / layouts and 3D models, 3D annotation, 2D Drawings, Data Release in TC, Change Management.

Area of Responsibility

• Create concept design / layouts / alternate designs / do the design calculations
• Create 3D models
• Generate 2D drawings and 3D annotation
• BOM Creation and Data management in Team Center
• Creation of technical documents as directed by TL
• Adherence to all quality parameters and process as required by organization as well as client requirements
• Prepare technical presentations for assigned tasks
• Communicate with peers / onsite team / customer on regular basis or as per project need
• Attend review meetings / conference calls with (peers / onsite team / customer) and provide the inputs for meeting as requested by TL / Module lead / Onsite coordinator
• Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions
• Document the best practices, preferred work procedures and get it validated by team leader
• Ensure on time delivery with required quality level
• Timely update the work status to technical lead / customer / Onsite coordinator
• Participate in idea generation to improve the productivity, processes
• Participate actively in acquisition of patents and publishing technical papers in their area of work
• Onsite support to client if required

Essential:

• Hands on experience in design or integration of at least one and preferably more in BIW Structure, Underbody, Front End. Front Floor, Rear Floor assembly Upperbody, Sealing.
• Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
• Good communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
• Liaise with Cross functional team, Peers

PC Literacy: Power Point, Excel, Word etc

CAD Literacy: Ability to generate parametric CAD data and Master sections in CATI A V5

Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.

Qualification: Minimum BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
