Job Description

Build and retain talent in core (motor controls, actuation controls) and emerging areas (Electrification, UAM, Sustainability, Smart Connected) and drive strategic infrastructure Investments (Capital & Operational Expenditure). Lead multiple product development project teams, building continuous improvement culture driving reduction in cycle time (Agile Mindset) and cost (remove waste, standardize practices) with highest quality. Leverage organization best practices and frameworks (Agile, Honeywell Operating System). Build strong MOS with engineering internal (global teams, peers, engineering COEs) and external stakeholders (offering managers, leadership, Cross business groups) of MCS COE and Aero leadership (in region and global). Partner with High Growth Region (HGR) India regional business teams (Technology and Product Sale Business Development Leadership) to connect with regional customers (key account management) to identify new opportunities (co-creation, co-innovation) by participation in proposal development and technical bidding process. Build culture of driving business driven innovation to create a strong pipeline of market & customer backed and technology forward offering pipeline focusing on core and emerging areas of Urban Air Mobility, General Aviation and Electrification. Actively work with cross functional teams (strategy, marketing, offering management) in front end innovation process (opportunity pipeline, prioritization) resulting in Breakthrough Ideas (BTI) and New NPIs. Build compelling vision for CS SBU MCS COE and have crisp and clear communication to align diversified and experienced team members. Build differentiated capabilities (now and future) and capacity (aligned to long term global strategic framework and annual plans). Leverage local eco-system for speed and complimenting capabilities (universities, suppliers, startups)



Bachelor or master's degree in engineering (preferably in mechanical/electrical/electronics). 15+ years of experience in product and technology development. Have demonstrated experience in leading motion control systems & components (electric motors, solenoids, valves, fuel pumps, brakes, etc) and environmental controls (control surface actuation, air conditioning, cabin pressurization). Working experience in product development (full life cycle - from concept to launch to field support) and understanding of development process, aerospace certification standards, methods (DfX, Additive Manufacturing) and tools (CAD/CAM, Controls Software) across the life cycle. Very good understanding of end Products, Customers, Markets and Business
